Yesterday I drove to a little spot where a curve in the road bends perfectly with a peninsula of granodiorite and pine. Below are a few variations of the curve as I walked about the side of Flagstaff Road in Boulder, Colorado.
The subtle differences in these photos are small, but it’s interesting to look at the timestamps on your photos to plot how the visuals came to shape themselves out. Though I drove to this spot with the final photograph in mind, it still took a few seconds to hash out the symmetry of the curve in the road and the curve of the lane lines to find the balance that I was searching.
Take a few snaps shots, walk a few feet and change your perspective. It only takes a few extra seconds.
