2020 is the year for the creative world to dig through their archive, to look for missed opportunities, for something to learn from. Maybe even find a few favorite gems that never found a home during the editing process.

Mining the archives will be a recurring event here, so please check back often or sign up for the newsletter for updates.

Facebook reminded me today was the anniversary of the August 21, 2017, total solar eclipse. Thanks, Facebook, the event was hard to forget. Literally think about it every day, but thanks for the heads-up to dig.

Below are a few iPhone outtakes from the highspeed burn from Denver, Colorado, to Alliance, Nebraska to visit the infamous Carhenge for the eclipse. The absurd roadside attraction created the perfect backdrop for such a cosmic delight.
